Refunds and cancellations
Every purchase in Word Hurdle is processed by Apple, not by us. We never see your card, and we cannot take a payment or reverse one. That means refunds go through Apple — but it also means you do not have to go through us to get one.
Asking Apple for a refund
Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple Account, and choose the purchase. Apple decides the outcome.
Apple asks us for some information when it adjudicates a refund — broadly, how much of what you bought you had used, and how long the account has existed. What we send, and why, is set out in Section 5 of the Privacy Policy. We do not send a recommendation for or against; we answer the questions Apple asks.
Cancelling a subscription
iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Word Hurdle.
- Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. This is the single most common cause of a charge nobody expected.
- Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not shorten the period you have already paid for, and you keep the benefits until it ends.
- Turn auto-renew off at least 24 hours before the period ends, or the next one is charged.
Gems and other consumable purchases
Gems are a consumable. Once they are spent inside the game they are gone, and they have no value outside it — they cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged for money. Unspent gems are not refundable except where the law requires it, and the full terms are in Section 5 of the Terms.
Your statutory rights
Nothing on this page limits rights you have by law. If you are in the UK, the EU, or another place with a statutory right to cancel or to a refund, that right applies regardless of the above — and Apple, as the seller of record, is who it applies against.
If you think something has gone wrong that Apple cannot fix, write to support@ropolabs.com and explain what happened.
